Bridge Football Academy (BFA) has identified the lack of good quality, affordable 3G’s across Gloucestershire.

BFA has teamed up with Moat Primary School (MPS) in Matson do deliver a Artificial Grass Pitch (AGP) in an economically deprived area. The current site is a ‘building site’ left behind following the demolition of old school buildings some years ago. The site would have huge benefit for MPS, BFA and the wider local community offering nearby affordable top-quality facilities.

BFA aims to increase sport provision at an affordable cost in the most impoverished areas. The main targets areas identified will be groups who do not currently use 3G at all due to the financial cost or the lack of space available, womens and girls football and disability football clubs.

Bridge wants to help MPS become the ‘go-to’ place for sport within the local community and help the school utilise this
large empty space effectively.
